Anne Kokke

Anne Kokke is an experienced marketing strategist and commercial leader.  She identifies opportunity for new and/or existing products, teams and whole companies and provides the strategy and organisation necessary to succeed.  She has a track record of accomplishing this for large corporates, SMEs and start-ups.

In her recent role as a director for Microsoft, she repeatedly identified opportunity, convinced stakeholders, set strategy and led teams that have achieved commercial success. Working in software and IT industries since 1997, Anne adds real value to new ventures by using these skills to deliver “break though” yet simple solutions.

Anne has a Master of International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona and a Bachelors from University of Colorado, Boulder.

Tes Macpherson

Tes Macpherson has extensive experience in the mobile industry, having worked with European blue-chip telecom operators and start-ups since 1996 in both technical and project management roles. She is skilled in business analysis, system specification and user-centred software design.

Tes has a strong understanding of startup mechanics, and of the business opportunities arising as almost all industry sectors take on an online or mobile element. Tes is passionate about the Lean Startup movement, and is a strong believer in the benefits of validating business model assumptions about customers and product-market fit at the earliest opportunity.

Tes holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, and recently completed a Masters in eBusiness Systems at City University with Distinction.  She is part of Second Mile’s Fellowship programme to develop skilled entrepreneurs.

Colin Frey

Colin Frey has more than twenty years corporate experience building businesses including Shell, GE and Pepsi on both sides of the Atlantic.

Since 2003 Colin has worked on an early tech start up with ITI Techmedia, his own on-line start up and other interim assignments.

Colin started his career as an engineer with a degree from Oxford, qualified as a Chartered engineer and holds an MBA from INSEAD business school in Paris.
