Second Mile has extensive experience of working with the academic sector and understands the diverse world Technology Transfer professionals must navigate. Following the ‘Pathfinder’ process developed with the Mercia Seed Fund and UK West Midlands Universities, Second Mile has an established set of processes to assist in qualifying new ideas, preparing them for investment and providing management.
Second Mile also provides sales skills and mentoring support to enable the technical experts of the TTO to discover the often latent needs of corporate customers and to close contract or licence sales.
